BEACHSTONE BAR & CAFE

Beachstone Cafe is located at North Sapphire Beach, near Coffs Harbour, on the Mid North Coast.

The Cafe is situated amongst coastal bushland, providing homes to much birdlife, and is tucked behind the dunes of picturesque North Sapphire Beach.

The lookout is only metres from the restaurant, which provides views to the Split Solitary Islands.

Between May and November whales migrating north for breeding and returning home to the south can be easily viewed in the Marine Park from the platform.

At Beachstone Cafe we are committed to reducing waste by providing alternative options for takeaway food and beverages.

Being set amongst natural bushland and within such a close proximity to the split solitary marine park we are focused on preventing damage to our native flora and fauna. Customers can choose to use reusable takeaway ware rather than once only packaging.

We provide biodegradable straws and napkins, bags and boxes and do not stock single use plastic bags. Our waste disposal system includes seperate rubbish and recycling, using the modern facilities provided by the local council. We have dedicated green waste removal, which is composted at a local farm.

At Beachstone Cafe we endeavour to maintain and develop our commitment to environmental sustainability, driven by our love of nature.

At Beachstone Cafe we engage with local growers and suppliers to bring the freshest, seasonal fruit and vegetables to our customers.

We are conscious of our ecological footprint, and attempt to reduce food miles wherever possible. Our eggs are locally sourced from an organic farm. Breads and pastries are baked daily at K Pane Artisans bakeries in Coffs Harbour. Fresh seafood is received from the Local trawlers owned and operated by Hux Seafood.

Milk and dairy products are provided by the cows grazing in the pastures at Ulmara , from Big River Milk. Our fruits and vegetables are grown and cared for right here at Sapphire, by Darren the farmer at New Life Farm.
